LAKE FOREST – Career journalist Mike Conklin will be at the Lake Forest Book Store to discuss his long-standing interest in forgotten Dust Bowl novelist Sanora Babb, whose personal life was as colorful and notable as her books about her childhood spent on the Great Plains. The event takes place from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 25 at Lake Forest Book Store, 680 N. Western Avenue.
