
New, clean pajamas just make life a little bit better
The Twelve Elves, a group of girl friends in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff, is hosting its 16th annual PJ drive for low-income seniors, female veterans and moms, and a group affiliated with Midwest Veterans Closet is collecting for homeless male veterans who need PJs in Lake County.
Want to help make the cold months a bit warmer for others? Here’s how the PJ drive donations work:
To ensure the groups receive a variety of sizes, please follow the buying guide by first letter of your last name.
A – C Medium
D – I Large
J – O Size XL
P – V 2-XLarge
W – Z 3-XLarge
The needs for men’s pajamas are sizes Small through 4XL. For women, size Medium through 3-XL.
- Purchase new PJs following the buying guide above
- Wrap the PJs or put them in a gift bag
- Mark M or F for male or female and the size on the bottom of the wrapped packages or holiday bags.
Drop off for the Twelve Elves PJ Drive is December 5 through December 9 at the following businesses during business hours only – please don’t leave a wrapped package or gift bag outside the buildings after hours!
