HIGHLAND PARK – The Highland Park Community Foundation continues to honor excellence in the teaching profession in Highland Park and Highwood for its seventh year of the Golden Apple Award program locally.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2017 Golden Apple Award. Nominees must teach at Highland Park High School in grades 9-12. Anyone can nominate a teacher for this award: students, parents, colleagues, administrators, or community members (no self nominations). Each nominated teacher will receive an application to compete in this rigorous process.
The final recipient of this prestigious award will receive an honorarium grant of $2000, a $500 gift card to the Apple store, and a “Golden Apple.” The final recipient will be recognized by the school and school district as well as by the Highland Park Community Foundation.

Nominations close November 4, 2016 at 5 p.m.
Application materials will be mailed to each teacher nominated.
