HIGHLAND PARK – A non-profit organization called Keshet is opening a residential program for adults with special needs at 2121 St. Johns Avenue. Called “My Life,” the program will enable residents to become active members of the community in a caring home that promotes independence and a meaningful life.
“We feel that this program will fit the needs for adults, by offering the chance for independence and acceptance for our special needs community members, something that we are constantly striving for,” said Abbie Weisberg, CEO and Executive Director of Keshet, a non-profit organization that provides educational, recreational, vocational and social programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities, operating according to traditional Jewish values.
