The majestic tree on the lawn of Wilmette Village Hall was set ablaze with lights and color during the village’s annual tree lighting event, kicking off the holiday season for both the young and young at heart. Carols filled the air as the children played games to keep warm on the chilly evening. Village President Bob Bielinski gave a few words before the lights were set aglow. wilmettechamber.org
